Cocktails and Mocktails

Welcome to my own customised recipes for all tastes and desires. Here I welcome all. Flair. Cocktails. Mocktails. Tricks. Tips.

Cocktails

My personal favourite is a simple French Martini. However, I can never resist a Mai Tai. I love sweet yet sour in my cocktails so if that’s something we have in common then you’ll love these cocktail recipes I have in place just down below!

Mocktails

A lot of mocktails nowadays is really just juice and I feel like the whole point of a mocktail is to still be able to experience that true mix of flavours. It’s mixology for a reason, so why not include those flavours? Here I allow an alternative choice of taste using traditional liqueurs and using them as inspiration for an uncommon usage of syrups.

”Rose Delight”

This Mocktail received it’s name as it was frequently referenced to taste similar to Turkish delight.

How to make a Rose Delight

Ingredients:
  • 25ml Rose syrup
  • 25ml Honey
  • 1 Fresh Lime
  • 75ml Cranberry Juice
  • Lemonade
Instructions:

In a shaker add:

  • Rose syrup
  • Honey
  • Squeezed lime
  • Cranberry Juice

Wet shake together and select desired glass (I’ve chosen a whiskey glass). Add ice halfway into glass then pour from shaker.

Top with lemonade. Alternatively you can also use soda as it is inspired from a gin spritz.

Garnish:

I’ve selected a dried leaf dipped half way into the inside side/edge of the glass upwards as shown in the above photos.
